We’re excited to announce the launch of Episode 1 The value of raising awareness about cultural diversity and inclusion of TRANSITION Podcast, the new series of conversations exploring how cultural heritage can foster cultural diversity, inclusion, and more resilient communities.

In this first episode, Ana Carvalho speaks with Professor Gianfilippo Terribili from Sapienza University of Rome, who has been researching cultural heritage in the Kurdistan Region of Iraq for over two decades. 

Professor Terribili shares insights from his work since 2006—particularly at the Paikuli archaeological site and with Yezidi and Yarsan religious communities—highlighting the richness of the region’s heritage, as well as the many pressures it faces today.
